First United Methodist Church has a mission statement to "love our community into becoming followers of Jesus Christ." In order for us to do this effectively, we first need to make sure that we, the members of First United Methodist Church, become disciples of Jesus Christ that are equipped to fulfill the mission.

In order to help us become effective disciples that make disciples, we have determined that classes in the following five areas are necessary to our continual development:

1. Bible Study
2. Life Stages and Life Issues
3. Leadership Training
4. Christian Service
5. Spiritual Formation

We believe that the programs provided by the Christian Life Academy will help you become a more effective disciple of Jesus Christ, and begin to fulfill our mission, as a church and as Christians.
