Music Ministry to Kick Off
New Year
Summer is almost over. Can you believe it? School is starting and it is time once again to turn our attention to fall scheduling. Our church has so many music opportunities for members of all ages to participate in.
On Wednesday evening, September 1, 2010 the music ministry will have a registration dinner for all choirs in the music ministry. This includes the Cherubs, Kidschoir, Youth Choir, Chancel Choir, Handchime Choir and ALL Bell Choirs. Come down to Wesley Hall for a hot dog and chips, sign up for the choirs, and enjoy the fellowship to start off the new season. We will serve dinner from 5:30 – 7:00pm. No reservation is needed and it’s FREE!
We have great things planned for the music ministry, including a Christmas Musical to include all choirs. You’ll want to come and be a part of that as we will begin rehearsals soon. This musical includes not only music, but drama as well.
Sally Wilson and Jeannine Manley will direct the Cherubs and Kidschoir and Naulene Pittman will be directing the other choirs. We are looking forward to working with you and getting to know you this year.
