Prayer Ministry
Prayer Group PDF Print E-mail

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made know to GOD"

Prayer is the act of communication with GOD.  The FUMC prayer group is a group of people that meets to pray together.  They gather outside of the congregations regular worship service to pray for persons that have requested special prayer.  These could be requests for numerous concerns, such as death, illness, family, friends, etc.  This group prays for each individual request then sends a card to that person.

A request may be made using the yellow prayer card in the pews or thru the FUMC website.  Please include:  name, address and phone number of the person needing prayer with any special needs such as - 1) have pastor call; 2) put name on printed prayer list or 3) share info only with pastors.

Anyone wishing to be a part of the prayer group please join us on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am in the Children's Building.

Take It to the Lord in Prayer PDF Print E-mail

All of us have times in our lives when we need help praying.  There is a wonderful group here at the church that is here for you to help.  Every Tuesday morning they gather to pray for any requests that have been made.  There are yellow cards in the pews with which you may make a request, or you can simply email the church with your prayer need.  If there is a person with a need for whom you want prayer, please include their name and address and a card will be sent to them letting them know they have been in our prayers.
