is good!) Join us as we connect the extravagance of chocolate with the
extravagance of Good's love and grace. You'll grow closer to friends,
deepen your relationship with Jesus, and be lavished with love.
Together we'll enjoy meaningful devotions, chocolaty activities, and
lost of sweet fun! It will be in the Youth Building. The cost is $30
or, if you've paid your $25.00 deposit for the October Women's Retreat,

2008 Women's Fall Retreat will be October 10 - 12 at Prothro Center. All ladies are welcome. To reserve your spot, a deposit of $25.00 is due Feb. 17. Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made before July 29. UMW SubgroupsFirst Tuesday Mission Leader: Jean PeelThis daytime group meets in A 102 at 10:00am the first Tuesday of each month. Thy share refreshments and fellowship as well as the study of the UMW program book. Most of these ladies have been involved with UMW for many years and share the love of the PURPOSE and history of this important organization. Network Angels Leader: Susan Brownell The Network
Angels is an email study group that follows all of the guidelines set
forth for
United Methodist Women. It
was formed
for working women with limited time, but still wanted to be of service
to their
church, community and world. These
women
make commitments to give their time in projects of service and study
and to
pledge to the budget of the United Methodist Women’s unit at
First United
Methodist Church in Grand Prairie.
The
Network Angels have quarterly meetings to
enjoy fellowship and plan mission projects.

Wesley meets at 7:00pm, the 3rd
Tuesday of
January, February, March, April, September,
October and November. Working ladies
will enjoy this evening
group as we study the programs offered in the UMW study book. You will learn how the
Bible scriptures play
a role in our mission as United Methodist Women following The PURPOSE. This group meets in
members’ homes or can
meet in room A102 in the Adult Building. |
