Lee Elementary

Reading Buddies

Are you able to spend 1 hour per week reading with children at Lee Elementary? The principals and teachers of Lee are working diligently to get students reading on level. Research has show that reading one-on-one with students helps them immensely. Please contact the church office if you are interested in helping.

Who Am I? A Class on How God Made Us

The Enneagram

Have you ever wanted to learn more about yourself?  Learn why you think and act the way you do?  Wednesday nights this fall let's explore our enneagram number and how God made us!  The Enneagram is a system of nine personality types combining traditional wisdom with modern psychology - a powerful tool for understanding ourselves and the people in our lives - with three major applications:
  • Personal and spiritual growth
  • Successful relationships at home and at work
  • Leadership development, team building and communication skills for business

Enneagram work supplies the tools and knowledge to:
  • Increase your personal and professional effectiveness
  • Increase your self awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Understand your patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving
  • Build successful relationships at home and at work
  • Support your strengths, identify your blind spots and manage personal reactivity
  • Develop your inner life

  • New Cancer Support Group

A new cancer support group will meet during the Sunday School hour, 10-11am The group will be led by Marcy England, a cancer survivor herself. Both cancer patients and caregivers are welcome. The goal is for the group to meet on second Sundays.

  • Homework Helpers

Comunidad Cristiana Multicultural, our Spanish-language congregation, is starting an adult class Wednesday nights 7-8:15pm.  We need volunteers to spend about an hour helping the children with homework. (The children speak English.) Contact Pastor Griselda at gissel21@live.com for more information.  This begins September 11th.

Grief Support Group

During Sunday School hour on 3rd Sundays, the Grief Support Group meets in Wesley Hall. ANYone is welcome. This is a group that will grow and shrink according to individuals’ needs. We will address issues common to ANY kind of grief, not just death or illness.
