Eagle Project Build Day | Volunteers Needed | May 16+17

Please join us in supporting Antonia Simpson as she completes her Eagle Scout Projecton May 16–17, 2026. 

Work will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the last person leaves. 

Antonia will be building a flag retirement pit at VFW Post 2495

1401 N Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. This project marks a historic milestone for Troop 195 as the first Female EagleScout project, and your help will make a lasting impact. Drinks will beprovided for all volunteers.

Come lend a hand, support our Scouting community, and be part of history!

Senior/Graduation Sunday | May 17th

Do you have a loved one graduating from high school or college? If so, please contact Jayme by email or call the church office, so that we may honor them.


Please share the following information by May 10th:

• The graduate’s full name and photo

• The school they are graduating from

• The type of diploma or degree they are receiving

(e.g., High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree,

Bachelor’s Degree)

• Whether they will be continuing their education

(college, trade school, etc.) or entering the job market.

Ministerios en Español Mother’s Day Celebration

You are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the love

and joy of Mother’s Day. All women are welcome—not just

mothers. Come enjoy a meaningful and uplifting time

together in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.

We’ll share a delicious meal, a special time of worship with

a short message, and enjoy fun games like “Bring Me This”

and lotería (bingo). It will be a wonderful time of

fellowship, laughter, and encouragement.

This event is designed as a special time for women to

relax and connect, so we kindly ask that you make

childcare arrangements and enjoy this time just for you.

narthex so we can plan and have enough food for everyone.

Communion Servers Needed!

Worship becomes even more meaningful when many voices and hands join together. We’d love for you to consider serving by reading scripture or assisting with communion.


Right now, we’re looking for scripture readers for and communion servers.
