Halloween at the Market

October 31st

Instead of Trunk-or-Treat, our church has a booth at the Farmers’ Market Halloween night, 7-9.

You can help by:

1) donating candy for us to hand out and

2) volunteering to take 30 minutes at our booth.

Contact the church office to set up volunteering.

Care Van Program

November 1st

Care Van is a community outreach program providing free immunizations for children 2 months through 18 years of age. It takes place from 5:00 -7:00 PM in the Youth Building.

Communion Rail Offering

November 6th

Any offering left at the communion rail November 6th will go to Santa Cop, a program that provides needy children in our community with gifts for Christmas.

All Saints' Sunday

November 6th

(“Saints” in Protestant understanding means all the people of God, not just “perfect” or “super-holy” people.) We will remember the members of FUMCGP who have died since last November, and in the 11:00 service we will also show slides of your family members who have died this past year IF you get their picture to us by Oct 27th, 2016.

Charge Conference is taking place on November 7th at 6:00PM at FUMC, Duncanville.

Come help package 10,000 meals for hungry people around the world from 9:45-10:45 AM.

We’ve collected enough for 8,593 meals!

GP Food & Clothing Co-op Needs

In March we received 717.5 lbs. of food from FUMC and wanted to thank everyone for such a blessing to our community.

Pantry Needs…Canned Meat (like chili or ravioli, etc.), Tomato products (sauce, whole, diced, etc.),

Corn, Green beans, and cash to purchase needed items.

Clothing Needs…Men’s & Boys.…Shoes (all sizes);

Men’s jeans [sizes 32 – 36]; Men’s underwear [med & lg.]; boys underwear [all sizes], Men’s summer t-shirts [all sizes] and Men’s and boys white t-shirts.

Women’s…Shoes (size 9 ½, 10, 11, 12); socks.

Other Items needed…QUEEN & KING SHEETS, BLANKETS [double, queen & king] and TOWELS

NOTE: Please check expiration date on all food items.

                  The Co-op can NOT give out expired items.

Kids, Inc. Clothing Needs

Kids In Need of Clothing, Inc. need the following:

Appropriate school clothing for P-12 grade

New underwear, socks, hats and gloves

Gently used tops and coats

Box available for drop off in narthex.
